WhatsApp Update: Meta-Owned Instant Messaging Platform Introduces New Tool for Web and Desktop Users to Create Custom Stickers

New Delhi, November 24th: WhatsApp owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp has introduced a new tool for web and desktop users to create their own custom stickers.

You can access Sticker Maker from any chat> Attach (paper clip icon)> Sticker and upload a photo to create a custom sticker. A user can outline and crop a photo into a sticker and add emojis or words to it.

“To use Sticker Maker, download the latest version of WhatsApp for the web or desktop, select the attachments icon in a chat window, then select the sticker icon, and from there you can upload a photo and your own Create magic, “the company said in a statement. WhatsApp reportedly tests the playback speed button for audio messages.

WhatsApp recently introduced two new security features “Flash Calls” and “Message Level Reporting” for users in India. The functions for flash calls and message level reporting give users greater security and control over their use of the messaging app.

With Flash Calls, new Android users or those who switch devices frequently can verify their phone numbers through an automatic call instead of a text message.

The message-level reporting feature allows users to report a specific message they received on WhatsApp. This can be done by simply long pressing a specific message to either report or block a user.
