National Small Business Week 2021 virtual summit announced September 13-15



SBA hosts three-day, live summit with learning and online training sessions for small businesses

The US Small Business Administration has its 2021 National Small Business Week Virtual Summit on May 13-15. Announced September. This year’s events will highlight the resilience of American entrepreneurs and the renewal of the small business economy as they better recover from the economic crisis caused by a one-off pandemic. The virtual summit will honor the country’s 30 million small businesses for their perseverance, ingenuity, success and creativity.

SBA Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman announced National Small Business Week in a video message. “As the voice of America’s 30 million small businesses and innovative startups, I am excited to announce the SBA’s annual National Small Business Week Summit,” said Administrator Guzman. “In the past 16 months we have seen the incredible determination and ingenuity of small businesses across the country. During NSBW, we will recognize and celebrate their impact on our economies and community empowerment as we look to recovery. NSBW is the perfect time for small businesses across the country to network and learn about the many services and programs offered by the US Small Business Administration, including our free business advice and mentoring opportunities available through our district offices and resource partners . We look forward to celebrating with you as we rebuild our economies and help our small businesses build better. “

This year’s National Small Business Week activities take place in a virtual atrium and include numerous educational panels that provide retooling and innovative practices for entrepreneurs as small businesses seek to rebound and rebound towards a stronger economy. The SBA will work with our Summit Partner SCORE – the nation’s largest network of volunteer, experienced business mentors – to share vital information about the many programs and services available to help businesses start and grow, build resilience, and employees engage and discover new markets and join key networks.

Not only are we celebrating these resilient entrepreneurs during National Small Business Week 2021, but we’re also helping our Garden State entrepreneurs meet future challenges. During National Small Business Week, the SBA will host a three-day, live virtual learning and online education summit highlighting stories of perseverance and recovery, ”said Al Titone, SBA district director in New Jersey. “I strongly encourage small business owners to sign up for our free virtual program to celebrate our recovery together and learn how a business resilience plan can be critical to the sustainability and success of their business.”

The National Small Business Week Virtual Summit will also feature representatives from Fortune 500 companies, who will discuss their path to success and share resources to help companies get started. Highlights of the summit will include virtual booths to build face-to-face contacts with partners from the public and private sectors to create opportunities for real-time collaboration and information sharing. Additionally, small business attendees can learn about new business strategies, meet other business owners, and speak with industry experts. Speakers will be announced at a later date.
