Kyle Raffo, the entrepreneur behind leading print and retail company Embello, launched Brum SOS! find a charity or community project to win £10,000 towards a rebrand that would be achieved in a challenging 48 hours using #teamembello

Embello, one of the UK’s leading print and merchandise companies, would like to give a Midlands-based charity, community group or non-profit organization a ‘brand makeover’ for free.

Based in Tamworth, the philanthropic company wants to show its appreciation for all the commendable work a charity or group does in their community. The team are offering a full rebrand worth at least £10,000.

The twist in the plot is that the winning organization has to work with the BBC TV ‘DIY:SOS’ style Embello team to achieve the rebrand within 48 hours.

Kyle Raffo, Managing Director, said, “Giving back is an important ethic at our company. We work with hundreds of other companies nationally and internationally to produce their branded merchandise, but many worthy charities and local community groups simply don’t have the funds to cover these types of marketing assets.”

Any charity, non-profit organization or community group based in Birmingham or the West Midlands can apply for the Brum:SOS Challenge, provided they can demonstrate that they have made a positive difference in their local area.

Kyle said, “Being able to present your charity, community group or project in a professional manner that raises profile and inspires trust. This type of branding offers numerous benefits that smaller organizations find difficult to access.”

The generous rebranding project will be worth over £10,000 in products and services and will also be filmed for a mini-documentary to be shown on Embello’s social media and YouTube.

Project team member at Embello, Alicia Hulland, said: “In 48 hours, our Brum:SOS challenge is to give the selected charity a brand refresh, which includes the help of our design team in creating new marketing materials. Included in the £10,000 budget we offer a range of branded items such as merchandise, uniform and team apparel, building signage and vehicle wraps as well as printed promotional materials.

“Not only are we designing and printing these, our talented team of installers will be on site to install the new signage and graphics.”

Boss Kyle said: “The closing date for entries is Monday June 6th and after that we will work together as a team to select the organization that will have the greatest impact on the community. After we have selected the winner, we will contact them and announce them through our social media platforms.”
